The Puto Cake Business, “Eggsy,” began after a recipe experiment at the owner's home went viral online, leading him to formally launch the business due to the overwhelming demands of orders. Each puto cake, whether single flavors or mixed variants, can serve 6-8 individuals and is priced at 398 pesos for single flavors and 482 pesos for assorted variants. After losing his job as a seaman because of the pandemic, the owner shifted to online selling and used social media to promote his products, giving discounts and providing refunds for any damaged puto cakes. Now, due to his hard work, the business then grown successfully, adding four different branches in total.
